Having never been to one of these shoots before I can't actually tell, but I take it the refreshments are just as much a part of the day as the shooting?

It's just there seem to be just as many pictures of people enjoying the food as enjoying the archery.

Nice pics though, looked like a fun day.

These shoots are more about the social side of aiuk rather then where the arrow goes, in some of the shoots down south great pride is taken in who has the most decorated cake. However this scottish one being the first in scotland may be about who has the most drink LOL

We had a really good day out...it was nice to put faces to familiar names. I'm sorry we had to dash back for a houseful of dogs with crossed legs (been on their own since 6.30am ) instead of staying for the aftermath party. Hope there's not too many sore heads!
See you for the next ScoCo and if poss, one soon in sunny England! Thanks to all the organisers and everyone we shot with for a lot of fun.
