How to wreck two arrows with a third shot!

Shooting on the next boss to me last night was 3D-Stu's little sweetie Jo and after banging her first two arrows into the 10 ring at 20yds she let her last arrow go with the following results. BANG

After a quick look it was obvious what had happened but hard to believe So try and keep up here!
The arrow on the left had struck the arrow on the right breaking the nock out of the right side of the arrow (splitting all carbon arrow)! It had then deflected onto the nock of the middle arrow breaking the nock and causing a bit of damage before lodging itself neatly into the seven ring. Strangly the nock on the last arrow had also come out a few mm but the arrow was undamaged!
After a bit of laughter I then smashed one of my new Beiter in out nocks! That will teach me to laugh at her expense huh! Sorry for the quality of the photo it is a bit gloomy in our hall I couldn't get the exposure in time with the sheet lightning! New lights coming soon though!

But why were you shooting inside? I thought you were made of sterner stuff?

I am and so were several of us, the coat and hat were on as it was just spotting but as Target Captain I had to protect everybody else and their handheld lightning conductors from the sheet lightning that appeared just as we put the targets out. It continued to give us quite a show for over an hour constantly knocking the power off. I couldn't take the chance as I hate making up excuses in accident books!

Ah alright then, lightning is a valid excuse

Not so sure.

I would have left the lightening conductor bows on the line and gone and sheltered under a tree with an umberella.

But then again I am not the brightest bulb in the box.
But I may soon be .........

As for the arrows why is there always a penalty for good groups!
