It's quite possible, my comment was kind of tongue in cheek. I would only use bareshaft as an indicator of recurve tuning and not the photos. I would watch the flight as well with the naked eye.

my comment was equally tongue in cheek.
However if you think about the statistical chance of catching the arrow flying dead straight 3 photos giving the same picture would cause me to either do something about flight or call it a day.

Taken as such! My reply/question was really motivated in large part by curiosity (can one really get arrow flight that good...?) and in small part by wanting to be a clever cloggs (or should that the other way round...?).

Anyway, given this was posted in the photos section, I would say that the photos are exellent, which of course I realise was the real point of your post!

Keep up the good work....

chemistry

PS. I tried your recommendation from the breaking the rules thread about not having such a pronounced side anchor, but still maintaining good shoulder alignment, and it really worked for me. No more odd flyers, now grouping consistently in the red at 80 yards (not bad for me), no more occasional scraped and bleeding chin...thanks!

You can see the tracer-feather on the back of the arrow and how the tail of the arrow waves side-to-side.
