Find of the century

While looking for images of pictures for the "Count to a Thousand" thread I have stumbled upon the reason that the internet was invented: To display the 100 worst album covers ever.

Post your thoughts and if you wish, you may need to own up to either having owning one of albums or even if you think you recognise someone.

I'm sure I got into a drinking competition with Jose Angel (#44) one night in Port Stanley and nicked his brown shoes cos they didn't go with his white trousers...

Feast your eyes!

Very scary Considering I've got Animal Magnetism (Scorpions) and Sabotage (Sabbath) in my collection. But they are probably some of the better ones.
I was praying that "In the court of the Crimson King" wasn't there - brilliant album and cover (but some may say the cover is ugly!)
Best wishes,
Steve

Black Sabbath's "Sabotage" is in my collection too. What the X were they thinking??? The cover of the "Paranoid" album is also dreadful - some hairy bloke with a cardboard shield, sword and Viking helmet...

Let's face it, the vast majority of album covers are rubbish (not that I own many), and betray the "art school" origins of many pop groups in the 60's that set the tone (I seem to remember being appalled by a Genesis one involving a fox and a submarine, or perhaps that was the atmosphere in the room I was in at the time). But this list, while being utterly foul, does seem to have a fair amount of laughing at foreigners and religious groups in it. Golly we're sophisticated these days.

Brilliant. I'm gonna start collecting them all. I particularly like 'The Singing Postman'. I've already got one of them (Black Sabbath, Sabotage). The cover sucks, but the music ROCKS.

These days? I seem to remember a fair few sixties/seventies sitcoms revolving around these themes I only saw the repeats of course....
