down on the farm

Went to Devon this weekend to get a bespoke chestguard made and shoot some arrows with Old Bloke. The weather was appalling in the southwest this weekend, but while shooting an outdoor Portsmouth, there was a brief break in the clouds...

Yes, there was gold at the end of that rainbow...and it was mine! Shot a 528 in the wind and rain and was well chuffed!! Such a shame OB's beloved OK was on the verge of exploding during our round, so he didn't get to finish

Ne'ermind. OB still got lots of love and affection from Thomas the farm cat.

It certainly is...even when it's tipping it down and emmets, grockles and big puddles are blocking up the roads.

It was a magic moment considering how gray and rainy it had been.

Hi Leigh,

Remember when I posted all those pictures of the kids with the ponies, and you thought they were so cute? They were taken at the miniature horse and pony centre at.......................................... Moretonhampstead !!!!

You could have gone there with OB for a nice lunch in the tea rooms, and fed the cute ponies too.

It's Budleigh Farm Shooting Centre, which caters for archery and riflery. I was just visiting.

Phil - the next time I'm in Devon I'm going to The House of Marbles in Bovey Tracey. I bet your girls would love it!

Leigh, there is only one thing thats going to shut my girls up, and that involves me buying them both the same thing, one large, one medium sized. Long faces, long swishy tail, long pointy ears, long legs......... get the picture LOL.

Any parents with daughters will understand only too well what I mean
