Although it is rather a long clip this one has both a 15 year old Darryl Pace and Ed Eliasen shooting in the Trials for the 1970 Olympics at just about 13.15.

thats an interesting little film - strikes me as showing the point where archery was becoming what it is today in terms of kit and technique - although there were still some weird and wonderful items in there - what the hell is this one ?

Back in the olden days, bows didn't have stabiliser bushes, and so the "device" is simply a way of mounting a stab.


At about 3 1/2 minutes...is that a very young Ron Bishop who only got 1 out of the gold at 90m?
