Thanks mate i was pleased with em, need to make myself anew set the ones im using are battered! too many trips in the undergrowth

The writing on them and the greek design was all done using a Staedler fineline permanent CD marker pen. If you write on the bare wood it will bleed out like it does on paper, but once its had its first thin coat of varnish and has been given a quick rubdown with sandpaper to smooth it up, it writes on it perfectly. You can then varnish over it as well.

Be careful if you use a solvent varnish or oil though as it can make it run
