Jimi Hendrix - Archer

Found this cool pic of Jimi shooting a bow.

Apologies for the quality. I was browsing in a bookshop and had to descretly photograph it on my phone.

Interesting. Jimi was famous for playing (brilliantly) his guitar left-handed but here he is shooting right-handed.

No. Let's just get out the Hendrix CDs and trip back to 1967.

Yup!!

I'm just surprised it isn't on fire or being shot from behind his head!

And other than the draw is a little high, it looks ok!

Already there... "Well I'm standing next to a mountain..... chop it down with the edge of my hand.... "

One of my childhood heroes! My only regret was not getting to see him live.

I've got a friend who set his Les Paul Custom* on fire in a similar way while on stage. He was quite shocked when the strings melted....

*For those of you that are horrified at the thought of setting a Les Paul Custom on fire, the guitar did survive (although without it's lovely black finish) and is still in use today (it's the one on the far left).

You'll get a Forbidden and a 404 if using IE, are you able to try it with Firefox?
