| Can anyone check some of the stuff i'm doing wrong? I'm really into archery and I would like to hear your opinions. YouTube - Tell me what's wrong |

| What do you mean a clicker, i'm already using one... And thanks for the advice, i just think it's easier to be consistent if you don't pause much. But maybe i'm wrong. |

| It all looks pretty good to me, The inconsistancy with the bow swinging past you sometimes and clipping you others could be dow to your bow hand its not really clear to see but you look to be "flicking" your fingers away from the grip after the release (better than grabbing it I guess) a close up video of your bow hand may help you see it Also just curious what poundage are your limbs ?

| I'd say your shot cycle is fine the way it is - if you can aim and get a controlled shot off that quickly there is no point in slowing the cycle down. You need to do some work on your back tension - difficult to say 100% from the video but it looks like your string hand follow through is quite slow, usually a sign of poor back tension. Do you find you sometimes get variation in your groups - low left or right arrows?

The poundage doesn't reach 37. i'm not very consistent on my form but i'm still in the process of changing it, luckly i only started archery a bit more than a year and i'm still in time to easily change it. |

Treat the draw as a continuous process that starts with the predraw and ends with your arrow in the target and you in the follow through position. The release is just an intermediate stage in the draw rather than the end of it. Trigger words for the draw that you can think of as you do it: confident and powerful. Beg or borrow a back tension release aid, and shoot your recurve using it. If you can't get a true BT release aid, use a trigger one and get your coach/an experienced archer to trigger it when you reach reference, but without you anticipating the trigger. The effect if your back tension is right is that your drawing hand will come back (initially along the jawline) very quickly - as you imagine would happen in a tug of war if someone cut the rope! Use clini band to practice whenever you can, focussing on the feeling in the back muscles Let your release be a relaxation of the fingers, and no more. The string will push your fingers out of the way, don't worry about trying to open them up. Once you've got this STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. Ideally, get a good coach to help you.

| I have a good coach. But since his english is quite poor (he's korean, Myung young lee) it might be badly interperted by me... Thank you for the advice. |
