It surprises me just how many archers are into photography.

Though having said that a lot of the ones in my old club/county, father included *thought* they were amazing photographers and really weren't.

Joking apart - there are rules on photography? Apart from the obvious shoving a camera in a competitors face at full draw - are there other things that I need be aware of?

I was thinking of takin my camera to the Bronte meet next weekend. I assume cameras are allowed?

At any tournement if you plan on taking pictures you will have to sign in at the beginning, so the organisers have a record of who took pictures, other than that, just common sense I guess

Is this an archery thing? I have been taking photos since I was about 12 and thats along time ago (no need to go into detail) - never been asked to register. Always just classed myself as an amateur.

Mind you an egyption got a tad upset when he caught me takin snaps in a tomb a while ago. I must admit I was actually breaking a rule then.

It's to do with the child protection/vulnerable adults rules, which GNAS have been using for a couple of years now as far as I know.

I think I will sleep on this one and look it up in the morning. Assuming I don't have to pay to register then I guess I will see about signing up.

Thanks for the quick responses Greydog. Off to bed.
