I think the reason you can not see any foot steps is it is not a great photo, it has been overexposed, or has lost a lot of detail when it was compressed for the web, I have a problem picking out the detail of the bottom cam against the snow there is no way you are going to pick out enough detail to see white footprints (wade marks) in white snow.

I agree it was probably staged but I think it is real snow, and a nice photo op. It also looks like good fun , I have swam in the sea off of the Gower in December and absailed through waterfalls from melting snow in January, admittedly when I was a lot younger but its all just a bit of good fun.

This photo has been kicking around US archery forums for at least a year or longer. It IS real snow and a staged shot. She did it for a bit of fun. Aya really promotes archery, especially women in archery.

As for the snow, I think you Brits are just overwhelmed because just a dusting throws the UK into a tizzy. Trust me, I have been in snow that deep. I've shoveled it, driven in it, played in it, etc. Some of us are just born eskimos and can handle it.

You're a bit late on that one, Tim. Murray posted the link earlier.

Murrays link did not say cambelts . I thank You, there are no prices and I am guessing the post from the US will not be cheap, but Im filing that one for when Im actually good enough to wear one.

Or I will wonder round Merlin's car park and pick up an old cam to make one myself there were a few lying round last time I was there

No, it didn't, but her cambelts link is bright as day on her homepage. She also creates wonderful artwork, too.

I have an idea that this photo was part of Ayas' 2004 calendar she released. The 2005 one was all drawn art.

Brian

(Whoops - just had a look at her web site and there are links to the calendars. I was right.)
