I far as I am aware this is a real untouched shot, look how rosey her cheeks are.

But then again I could be wrong as Photoshop in the right hands can do wonders.

Yup, genuine photo of Aya La Brie. I wouldn't fancy looking for the arrow if she missed...

Noooo. No phtoshop or paintshop here... That's Aya Labrie. An outstanding Longbow, Compound and Recurve archer, artist, and yes, she was up to her *ahem* in snow...

The guys are indeed correct this is the caption under the photo.

"The Denver snowstorm doesn't stop a serious archer..." (Aya has won the gold medal in the OR in BOTH the AZ Cup and Texas Shootout for 2003) and is the 2003 recipient of the prestigious NAA's Shenk Award. Way to go, Aya!

I'm sure the archer is very dedicated but how come theres no foot prints in the snow, or has she stood there with one arrow waiting for it to snow as your notice she has no quiver to keep any arrows in

I'm with you on this one Tony. This shot looks completely staged to me, even if it wasn't 'photoshopped'.

Also, in the second shot she still has an arrow

Jeez. Is there something odd in the Cornwall air??

OK... types slowly...

YES the shot was staged. You don't think she actually shoots like that do you?
YES, in the second shot she still had an arrow... erm... because she hadn't shot it (it *might* even have been an chronologically earlier photo!).

But in fact, Aya is one of the most dedicated archers out there... her career speaks for itself. Take a look at her results page and weep... http://ayasarchery.com/
