My New Pen For Scoring

Yesterday when shooting with my dad and Ffish, my dad broke one of his XX75 arrows in half by hitting the leg of the target stand. Then when looking at the broken bits i thought hmm i wonder what i could do with this. So after 3 or 4 hours. . . HERE IT IS





I moulded the end so it would fit in the shaft and then put tape around to secure it. Let me know what you think

Hey i couldnt find my digicam so i did it with my phone

Hi Danny,

That's a great looking pen you have there!

I'm new here, but please allow me to offer a small suggestion:

Use a little hot melt (low temp) to 'mould' the tip of the refill in, and before it hardens, but after it cools a little, use your finger to gently shape it into a conical end so that it matches the angle of the refill. That way, it looks a lot neater. You might have to experiment with a few refills first till you get the hang of it though.

Yep did that i used a candle lol. it just looks a bit messy with the moulded plastic so i put tape round it to make it look better. Thanks

No, thats when you have an annotated version of the Easton spine charts with biro refills marked on it so you know which ones fit best.
