However one regret about this article: the final issue is not what was suggested to me just before publishing. There was explaining photos that were finally removed for reasons I do not know... that makes me sad...

The minis live in US too.

I made my first mini longbow in September. It is a self bow of maple. It turned out 14" long, ~ 6# @5". It will blow a hole through a very thick paper dinner plate, "chinette", at 8 foot. I am currently working on proper target points for 1/8th " diameter shafts. Also I have an annual tourney to attend in April and if it gets rained into indoors this year, as often happens, I will force feed the organizers on miniature bows. I hope to have enough made that my friends who attend this shoot will all be fully equipped. Photos later.

Any updates on the mini compound bows, or any crossbows?

BTW, here's a fellow that makes miniature osage bows and sells them on eBay. You can find one at item number 290078798497. He has a few other for sale also.

You can now buy 1/6th scale replicas of the Narnia gear.
http://www.swordsdirect.com/narnia-swords.html

I don't think Susan's bow will be funtional, but it would provide an excellent model for building one that would be, then make the arrows and the quiver is already provided. Cool.

Agreed!

Sooo cool. It could replace darts!!!

See, darts is televisable as it is so quick. The problem with archery is the 3 minute wander, score, reclaim arrows.

Problem solved

That's my summer filled up anyway. My inlaws have a thicket of bamboo.

I shall think about a compound too!
