Flighty Rachel Completes the Double

Flighty Rachel competes in her first competition today, a Double American Hosted by Holden Acrhers. Talk about starting easy

56 Archers arrived and tent city was born


FR started her campaign

Arrow after arrow of the 180 was shot by machine gun FR (A couple of shots with FR's arrows in the frame)




With the long walks to collect


But the weather was a bit Jekyll and Hyde, from sunny


To heavy rain and gusty winds




But as always our FR was prepared to do battle


A great day and FR was done, time to go home for a big glass of wine.

Way to go FR have some and a well earned though from looking at those cold legs perhaps hot chocolate might be more in order!!!!

Thanks Phil, I've never seen pictures of myself shooting!

I'm sorry about the shorts, I had some white jeans but they had got a bit tight. Phil and Leigh kept asking me if I was freezing but I was too nervous to know... I did warm up later though.

That cloudburst was something else...especially as I had skillfully got one of my arrows onto the cricket wicket practically half a mile away.... Next purchase some waterproofs!
