Robin Hood'ed one of my Arrows


Actually two of my arrows but one looks salvageable, there are not 3 arrows above just 3 pictures of the same pair, I heard a noise while shooting at 40 yards tonight and thought to myself there goes another nock, as you can see it was more than a nock

Nice one
The most I can do to ruin an arrow is have arguments with trees - the trees usually win - :-)

I have been shooting 14 years not, broken endless nocks but have yet to have a robin hood. Does that make my archery really bad to have never done it, or really good that I can miss it every time

it means you're really lucky! I've only been shooting 2 years and I totally didn't mean to shoot my own arrow. It wasn't a cheap arrow either!

I would go for the option of saying that you are good enough to miss the other arrows, while still getting good scores!

Odd isn't it. The better you get, the more expensive arrows you buy. The better you get, the more likely you are to Robin Hood an arrow. Therefore, the more expensive your arrows, the more likely to are to Robin Hood one. We should all stick to shooting Jazz's.
