| Beg to differ over the 'any other sport' - those of us who sail usually don't get the option of going home when the heavens open as we're usually too far offshore! As Chay Blythe puts it - "it's only wind and water!"

| Nice photos! I can only think of three sports that are called off when it rains - cricket, tennis and golf. Everything else is either indoors or they just play on. Could you imagine footballers stopping play because it started raining? (Actually... I can!) |
