I'm way way too excited about that concept! let us know if brainiac get back to you!

Also, even if brainiac doesn't ask us to shoot for them then I'd be happy to do any fire arrow shoots. I just need a big field....

Which Olympics was it that used an archer to light the Olympic flame?

IIRC there was supposed to be a "fail safe" if he missed (which a lot of people thought he did!)

If they Do I will definitely let you know, apart from blowing stuff up I want to shoot an apple off of a dummies head of course I may miss the first shot We have a Long Bow and a Compound suppose we ought to have a recurve if they are interested.

Wikipedia says he missed but I'm not convinced, if you watch the video you CAN see something fall behind the torch but there's a delay between seeing the arrow go in the torch and it falling behind it, I reckon it might have bounced out or something because it takes too long to pass the torch. decide for yourself.

Perhaps brainiac should fund a trip to barcelona so we could reenact the event and see for ourselves?...

I think any Brainiac archery experiment needs to be well attended by AIUKers in our AIUK gear!

As for the Olympic clip, it's hard to tell. It does look close, tho. I think the thing you see fall behind is just sparks. Who knows for sure, though.
