Noooo!!!!!!

You take a paperclip and make a hook with it, then drill small holes through about 5 Menots and thread them on the paperclip. Next drill a 1/4" hole in the bottle top (smaller goes higher) and if you want also in the sides of the bottle at the top, then suspend the paperclip through the hole in the cap and replace it on the bottle. The Mintos are then suspended just above the surface of the Coke. Slip the paperclip so that it drops, with the mentos into the Coke and stand well back!
Enjoy

the only thing is that it works best in the states cos of diff amounts of the substances in the diff coutries.
less sugar an more carbon dioxide in the states. I think thats why it works better there.

As soon as the mints hit the coke they explode. The trick is in the delivery...we failed and got wet and sticky

I saw a piece on the local tv news about this and in their set up they used polo mints. The mints were dropped into the coke using a straw as a guide and then they tried to replace the lid on the bottle so the liquid was forced through a hole in the cap.
