I've been getting nice groups, they just keep moving around. So I shoot consitently for one end and then do something different the next end, so can go from a tight group at 3 o'clock in the red or blue to a tight group at 10 o'clock then another at say 7 o'clock and then maybe one somewhere near the middle like this one.

I was getting the same, until I started using foot markers (cheap golf tees - £1 for 50 from the pound shop). Now much more consistent between ends.

if i find the floor of the venue is too clean to have noticeable marks i use a piece of chalk i keep in my case to mark the floor.

Your preaching to the converted... If i got a quid for every bad arrow i shot after shooting a great group, i could afford to pay Chris White to shoot for me in competition!
