A few photos

Hi,

I finally got around to putting some recent photos online. No archery photos yet, but I'm sure that will change before long.

Anyway, you can find them here.

Comments welcome!

Some nice pics!
My personal preference would be for slightly tighter cropping on some of the animal shots, and I think the blurred grass at the front of some of the photo's distracts too much from the main subject, but thats being picky.

Kae.

one of the boat shots might have been better when the sun was lower in the sky to light underneath the hull - a big black hole

nice motion on the car pics

great fur on the primate/monkey type thing with the open mouth

I like the portraits best Jimster. Especially the head and shoulders shot of the monkey.

I think your year assisting at Venture is definitely paying off there.

Well may as well share my more amatuer efforts.

I'm still waiting for a Kae gallery you know

Hope you don't mean the profile picture

Portraits are generally my thing. I was shooting sessions at Venture, not assisting.

I'd just had a look at your pbase images, very nice!

Hi Jimster!
Really nice pics. I really love the animal shots.

I've got some pics on Flickr - some of them are just family occassions, but others are me trying a bit harder to be "arty".

I apologise in advance for the overabundance of dog pictures.

comments welcome! that is the point of flickr anyway.

Some nice shots in there Neil, nothing wrong with dog pictures (I have a number of cat pictures!).

Nice car too, as friend of mine has an Elise.

Thanks!
Only got my Nikon DSLR before Christmas, and I'm still finding new menu options to play with.

The Elise is getting on a bit now, and Cynthia drives it more than me these days I'm lusting after a TVR Sagaris, but I think its waaaaayyy down on the list of likely next purchases unfortunately.boo hoo.

I'm also a scouser by the way, born in Alder Hey Hospital. Dad's from Huyton and Mums from the Wirral.
