My new shafts arrived this morning which ain't to shabby concidering I only ordered them yesterday from Perris (thanks guy's) I went straight up to the club, cut them down, put the piles in, nocks on and off to shoot 70m with a gusetimated sight mark, strong winds, no spotting scope to see where they were going and this is what happend

A bit of tuning, some fletchings and all is well with the world . Not a bad way to spend your 26th wedding anniversary it could be worse I could be doing this I'm sure he didn't mind realy

Smile Destructor FOB :)

During todays County Windsor at Friskey I was doing some testing with the Hooter Shooter, the last test of the day was comparing groups with fletches to groups with FOBS. Unfortunately these are the results. The first photo shows 'Compound Kid' firing the hooter shooter, in the background are english_archer, the Meggy and Archery_mum.

And whoops

english_archer helped me extract the feather fletched X7 to leave a 'Friar Tuck' -

That really was somthing to see (and hear) me and Archery_mum were both wincing and trying to hide behind each other when those X7's were crashing into each other.
And I think the pics show that there is not much to worry about sharing a target with somebody shooting FOBs

This was shot a couple of weeks ago by me at 90m after a single end of sighters. It made me wish that i was shooting a scored round at a target day so i could claim my badge but ohwell.

Arrows are my nano pros

this 20 yard group isnt THAT impressive - but posting it anyway as it feels like quite an achievement right now - for about 3 weeks ive been having REAL problems (inexplicably going overnight from fairly comfortable 1st class shooting to regularly missing at 60 yards ! )

having worked through things one step at a time i THINK ive tracked it down and ended todays session in the garden shooting fairly well
