| Next limbs up Well I'm only just starting with this recurve target lark so I guess my challenger craft limbs will serve me well for a while but never to early to start saving up. What would you guys suggest when I need to move on for whatever reason its time to change them? |

| I also use KAP Challenger Crafts and am really looking forward to the day when I can do justice to a 'better' set of limbs. My heart says Borders. Principally because of everything I've heard and read about them but also because they are made reasonably locally to me and I appreciate local craftsmen and women. Having said that, if they don't suit me when I try them, I'll be very disappointed but will look elsewhere. The KAPs are more than good enouogh for me at the moment and will, I'm sure, remain so for some time to come.

| my first limbs were KAP challenger carbons and i thought they were pretty good for the price was intending to keep them for at least one outdoor season but a good deal came up on some merlin elites (made by border) and id liked what id felt when briefly trying a clubmates borders so i took the plunge the difference (at the same weight) is quite noticeable - the merlins are WAY faster on release and WAY smoother through the draw and at my short limb length dont exhibit the stack at nearly full draw i was feeling with the challengers the payoff is that they are a little less stable and less forgiving of a bad shot than the KAP limbs but i try to look at that as a way of focussing on my form more which must be a good thing surely ? to be honest i havent had THAT much experience of a vast array of different limbs but of those that i have shot / briefly tried / pulled i would say save up enough for something made by sid and the guys at border slainte rob

| Having a Win&Win riser I started with Challenger craft at 36#. Then bought 40# Winact, and now have 42# Winex. I am and have been happy with my limbs. |

| I had 3 sets of challenger limbs before buying my G3's. Don't be caught up in going for expensive limbs too quickly as you may well want to increase your poundage again once you have gained more experience. I say this as I feel that I could do with increasing poundage, but can't really justify buying more limbs when I have 2 sets of G3's.... but of course, you know I will ![]()

| border border border border border border border border ! XP10's 40lb at 68inches would suit me fine! and if you dont get on with them - I'll make you a good second hand offer! |

| I went from Win & Win KAP limbs to Win & Win XQ-1's they're a real joy to shoot as are all the better Win & Win limbs. Save plenty and then go try out limbs and see what feels best to you - though many have a short list first as there are lots out there! ![]()

| I switched from W&W Winact Limbs to Everest Pro because I wanted more poundage and they were a very smooth draw (Carbon Foam). |

I started with 30lbs Challengers, and moved upto 34lbs G3's. Took about two weeks to get into them, now I need more poundage. I have only had them for about 3 months. The next step for me is to try and buy second hand until I get to where I really should be and then buy new again. |
