| Win&Win reccomend 22.5 cm bracing height for your bow and limbs. I have mine at 22.2mm due to advice from my string maker. It works for me. |

| Its best to use the manufacturer's recommended range and find the brace height thats best for your bow. If you don't have any, a rough guide would be.. for 68" 8.25"-9.5" for 66" 8.00"-9.25" The best brace height would be the one that produces the quietest shot. Not sure if the brace height will change if you switch limbs, but you might need to tune the brace height again if you change limbs.(someone confirm this) Also, remember to check the brace height of your bow everytime you string up your bow and not just once in awhile. If the brace height is too low, twist and tighten the string. Do the opposite if its too high. Hope that helps.

| The guide lines have just been shown by Zippo and you will need to get the Bracing Height correct before you go any further with the tuning of the bow. But beware if you find that it is not working within these guidelines don't panic. I have never had a bow that would tune correctly within the suggested range. It all boils down to the individual Style and Technique and no 2 archers are alike. Happy Tuning ![]()

| W&W generally post quite a wide range for their limbs. For example short limbs on a 25 inch handle (66" bow) they give 20.5cm to 23cm For the medium limbs (68" bow) about a cm higher IIRC. Now given that the Mizar is a 23 inch handle... Has your wife got a 66" bow (medium limbs) or a 64" bow (short limbs)? The fine print on the limbs should tell you which - if they give a weight figure for 64 and 66 inches, then they are short limbs. If they give figures for 66 and 68 inches then they are medium limbs. If they only give one weight figure and length then you *probably* need to knock 2 inches off that length to arrive at the actual bow length. That depends on whther you have limbs which were made to go with a 23 inch handle or not (mostly not). The reason for going through all this: the Bracing height ranges go with bow length, not limb length, or weight. That said, they are just a starting point, and it generally takes some experimentation to find the best setting for each individual.

| To be fair your not after the quietest shot from your brace height, everyone would have a 10"+ brace height if that was the case, what you're trying to attain from your brace height adjustments is the point where the arrow leaves the string with minimum or preferably zero deflection off the ears of the arrow nock, that is the sound you are trying to eliminate.
