| Kind of in reverse order: Stabilisers. No immediate reason to upgrade them (unless they are falling apart). They will have a minimal effect on your scores. M1s. No direct experience of them, but scuttlebutt had them as more popular than G3s in the US. They are (as I understand it) an upgraded Hoyt Carbon+, which was Hoyt's flagship limb for umpteen years. Be aware that 38lb M1s are probably about the same weight as 36lb GSFs on your handle. Almost certainly faster though - there are differences in the way limbs are weighed. Limb/arrow upgrades. These more or less have to be done in tandem, unless your current shafts are too stiff for your current limbs. Are your current limbs wound up all the way?

Thanks for you input on the matter. Answering you question, my current arrows are slightly stiff for my limbs, in the T6 range, but I have my limbs wound in quite allot, Chucking out 38-39Lbs. Could you please explain what you mean by the weight of the M1 limbs? Are you referring to the poundage or weight in the hand? I have also noticed that Bowsports is selling Winex limbs for cheaper than M1's. Must be a better buy, if they feel ok on the bow, surely? Thanks Paul

| Hi Fezza I have recently upgraded my bow to the Sf riser, 36lb SHC limbs & 27.75'' Navigators. Lovely to shoot & reaches 80yds with my olympic sight set out at full. Good value for money & would recommend these limbs as an upgrade. Hope this helps Tomo | |||||||||||||

| The Winex limbs are great. You could easily pull and hold a 40# set then change to ACE's and reach 100 yars with your sight right out. The Triads are great but they are only stabilisers at the end of the day. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Thanks for all of your input on the matter. But in your opinion, what would give me the best improvement to my sight marks and set up? 1. Buying a new set of Easton A/C/E's, or 2. Buying a set of 38Lbs Winex limbs. I’m trying justify one over the other. ![]() Paul

| hello mate, with my Winex limbs i have 38lb on my fingers, and my Redlines reach 100 yards no problem... doesnt mean they go where i want to yet! but they get that distance and still have plenty of power to dig in. i think redlines are slightly lighter than ACC but not a hell of a lot so.

| I find that with my draw length and arrows, my 34# G3's reach 80 yards with a fully extended sight, and possibly fully extended at 100 (I've not tried in a long time). As for arrows, I've noticed no difference in my scores between shooting the ACEs I used to have and the Navigators I have now, although I think the ACEs were a little stiff for my bow at the time. | |||||||||||||||

| Given their current price drop I'd go for some Winex limbs. If you are already wound right in on the SF limbs then get some heavier Winex and wind the riser back out to match, then you've got some more play as your strength increases. (And as you do so the arrows will get less stiff of course )

| You wouldnt want to go and spend all that dosh on some ACE's and then upgrade the limbs at a later date and have trouble tuning them ![]() WINEX are a good buy at the moment! (There are also winact limbs going for £150 on altservices marketplace if you are really short on cash, a lot better than the GSF anyways) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
