| A decent sight reticule, I have found that a round inside and outside better suited than a square outside. Using an illuminated reticule, fibre optic centre did me no good at all. A spare string that gives you a matching pair, alternate their use. A set of decent arrows. Try v-bars and if they do not improve your score, go for a lighter less complex set up. If you do change a component, really test and evaluate its performance before accepting it as part of your standard kit. My main upgrades have been limbs (poundage 36-40#) sight reticule and long rod. The limbs enabled me to shoot accurately (hit the boss) at 100 yards. The sight so I can hit what I aim at and the long rod gives me much tighter groupings. I bought arrows that would eventually suit what poundage I would be shooting, all the equipment seems o suit what I am doing now, I am getting PB's every week and realise that it will soon stabilise, grade C indoors by the end of the season, so close every week, and Bowman class outdoors for next season. |
