| Some Recurve based questions One. Imthinking about Fatboys or other fat carbons for indoors. Can anyone give me a good reason why not? Ali's are out of the question as I could never get on with them as I always found them to heavy and slow. Two. What size would you suggest. Im drawing 29" at 48 ish pounds. Easton recomend 500 with 400 on the stiff side. Can anyone suggest if it would be best to go for 500 or 400? Note I will be looking at going up to 50# for next season so 400 maybe best choice. Three. Has anyone got experience with Jagger grips? I have ordered a BEST technique inspired grip for my helix and was wondering if anyone has some experience with these and can share there experience. Four. If your going Ill see you in Vegas in Feb!

I shoot Fatboy 500's. 27" long with 160 gn points Beiter nocks and 5" feathers from a 45# recurve. They are far too stiff and I have to move the sight well to the left. They are greatI would consider chnging to 2315 X7's as these are half the price. I too have ordered a Jager Best style grip and eagerly await it's arrival.

I've had my BEST Jager grip for about 2 months now, ordered it in black originally for my eclipse but I now use it on my helix direct from the man himself and I've got to say its one really good grip that feels weird when held but "right" at full draw with all the tension being put right behind the thumb as Ki Sik Lee intended it to, in other words the hand bones get perfectly in line and can stay even more relaxed(not much room to move about and not much to go wrong). There is a high ridge on the left of the grip for RH archers which helps the archer to maintain a solid 45 degree angle at full draw. It does take some getting used to though as with anything new but you'll get around to it in no time at all. You can start looking forward to receiving yours in the mail, I'm confident it'll work for you too.

I'm waiting on a jager grip too. In the meantime i've used some epoxy resin to build up my bow grip on the left hand side, and to make the grip slightly higher and it's already quite a bit more comfortable.

Sorry to hijack the thread Schme... I've emailed Linecutter Archery about the Jager grips, but have been met with a deafening silence. Is this unusual? Should I keep trying or just go straight to the source?
