| According to this list here Sagittarius Archery Blackboard :: View topic - Riser weights it's 1191g or 2lbs 10oz |

| The PSE X-Factor is one of the lighter risers and according to my Lancaster catalog they offer a 23" version. Also might consider Samick's 23" Ultra Agulla and the W&W 23"Winact. Dave

| Try a Samick Mizar. I started on this with excellent results and it's only about 975g.

| If you are looking at and intermeadiate level riser have you thought of any of the european risers 1: KG Kudos this is a lovely light riser made in sheerwood by KG archery, it is well balenced I have been shooting mine for a couple of years now and have found nothing that I like more. 2: Best make some nice 23" risers 3: Bernadini make some beutiful risers The winact is slightly lighter in the hand compared with the Matrix and the grip is more suitable for small hands, The Nexus grip is smaller still, and about the same weight. The Nexus has and advantage over the matrix as it is still a current bow in the cataloug. The 23" KG kudos has the avantage that you can select a grip or have one made to suit her hand. Nick

| All those suggestions are good; I have a (very) long KG Kudos; but I'm on a seriously tight budget - with 3 kids and 2 adults in this family to keep in archery kit (plus hockey, swimming, dancing, music etc etc etc), we are definitely looking second hand! Plus the way all my kids grow, she'll be needing a 25" riser in a couple of years, so cheap and with resale value will be a definite advantage. The information on the grip sizes is very useful, thanks. Prime choice at the moment would be a Winact, followed by the Matrix, but if something comes up in the price range, I'll consider anything! Thanks again for the suggestions, everyone.

| Hiya Cherry I have a RH 25" Radian - with short limbs this might be ok... Very thin grip too to suit young hands as it's only metal at the throat), reasonably lightweight, and she'd grow into it! You'd be welcome to have a look if you wish. It's been painted silvery grey, but could be stripped and repainted to suit colour preferences of a young girl (pink with silver stars?? )See you at another shoot soon?
