How many nocking points do you have?

How many nocking points do you have on your string, and why?

I've noticed that some people only have one nocking point, why?

I've got two made from button thread turks head knots held together with far to much super gule.

I have just one (bottom one) - as I draw with my index finger touching lightly on the nock of the arrow I don't really need a top one.

I used to shoot with just a bottom one, for the same reasons as Napolienne. But then a very reliable source told me that slow-mo video had shown arrows sliding around on the string during the power stroke when just a single nock was used. So now I'm using two nocks.

Most people who use a single nock have it above the arrow. I don't understand why, since this can allow the arrow to slide down the string when the archer's at full draw.

Hmm interesting..Dependent on the size of your (arrow) nocks though?

Only top as I had to remove the bottom as my new wider nocks would not fit.

Then how does your arrow stay where it is supposed? Touching the arrow with your finger changes the flight.

I use 2. If you only use the bottom one, once you loose, the arrow can move up and down before it comes off the string.

Only a top one.

Can't complain they go where they are pointed (Gold at 90m).

I really should try a beiter nock point one day......... (I've been saying that for the last 3 years!).

Kae.
