If it goes clickertyclickclick then it's probably too loose

But yeah, keep with it. It does get easier... then a bit harder, then easier, then bind-bendingly difficult... then a bit easier again...

I've just had an awful thought... I hope this doesn't turn into YACT! (yet another clicker thread)

I started using one this past Sunday, it's made a big difference to my groupings so far. Now I just need to get used to the slightly increased tension in my back muscles. At the moment it's throwing my aim off slightly but I'm hoping it will get a lot more stable as I get used to it and find stability at actual full draw rather than the fake almost but not quite full draw I had pre-clicker

Good luck!

Well at least you will learn to re-fletch arrows perfectly, clicker will get you lots of practise

No offense but at 2nd and 3rd class, is that not a little early to move onto a clicker, or is based on your groupings? I have just completed my 3rd bowman score and have only started using a clicker about 2 - 3 weeks ago.

Its a pain to get used to, but well worth the effort. Forced me to get my arms in line, as I was short drawing.

Just need to focus on your timing 4 - 5 seconds from start of draw if anything longer put it down and start again. After that you start to put too much preassure on your bowarm, start to shack.

Good luck!

I got my clicker when I score 550 indoors, this was probably coincidental as I was almost at Bowman outdoors prior to the indoor season

Good luck!
I started shooting last year, without a clicker, and made 3rd class, this year with a clicker groups improved enough to make Bowman by June, it's never to early.imho.
