how close to the line the front shoulder is is not something that the inflexible can do right away and will take time to get right. if you try and force it, your front shoulder will come up and you will likely hit your arm.

Hitting your forearm a little is going to happen with a tight alignment anyway... but there are bruises and there are bruises.

And that overhead diagram means nothing if your side and back views aren't also correct.
Well spotted Erika

Because there is trials for an upcoming competition coming up, I've reverted to shooting the old wrong ways..

Anyway, I'll use this thread for asking some of my more random questions, so hope you guys can help me

Alright.. I just realized (took me long enough) that by pulling the bow to my chin anchor, ( head turned as much to the target as possible, head position static) I will not get a proper string picture (ends up wayyyyy outside the sight pin). To get it to my intended position, (the gap in-between the sight aperture and vertical bar), I have to tilt my head down a certain angle.

From the picture I posted.. It seem to me the string is aligned to the aiming eye no?

Watching videos of some of the top archers.. I realize they do move their head a little when coming to anchor..

What gives?
