They used to be the most expensive limbs on alt, and they use ceramics in their construction. However no-one thought there were worth as much as they were going for so there arent many around They also had a tendancy to break, but if yours have lasted this long they are probably a good pair lolGREEN HORN ARCHERY PRODUCTS WELCOMES YOU

Rusty - Greenhorn equipment isn't common over here. It tends to be pretty expensive, and as far as I know no dealer with a showroom carries a good range of their stock. I've shot a Greenhorn and it felt pretty good, but that was a while back now. I do know that there have been a few comments about the double-ellipse limbs delaminating. One chap (MerlinApexDylan on Archerytalk - hardly there now as he had to give up archery following an injury) bought some from a UK distributor. They delaminated in short order. The replacements were apparently very poorly finished and constructed, but the dealer refused to refund him. However, this is only one instance of a particular limb shape, and by the sounds of it you have a normal Greenhorn limb. I'm sure the quality is up there with most of the top brands in most cases. ![]() Hope this helps.

Thanks for info posts. the limbs a very well finished and fit. As I commented the limb bolt slot was narrower than the standard ILF limb bolt slots. ![]() I have a Warf Jennings riser (old 20.5" Jennings compound riser mofided by Bob Gordon to accept ILF limbs). I removed the brass shim on the limbs bolt and the Green Horn limbs fit nicely. ![]() the limbs were marked 68" 43#@28 under that 47#@28". ![]() Due to the limb pad angle of the Warf Jennings, the when mounted the limbs gave me 47#@28". Very smooth draw. Nice thru the under arrow clicker (I shoot the bow IFAA barebow). ![]() My first shot at 20yds using my standard 20yd string walking crawl was right on the money. The speed must be up there with my usual limbs. Since I just gave $85 (US) for the limbs they were a very good buy for what I got. I picked up the Warf Jennings riser used for $100 (US). Really a nice kit for very little money. rusty

The rocker on these Green Horn limbs was very flat. Kinda like the limbs were intended to be bolted down snug. I snugged up the limb bolt. The tiller ended up a bit positive. I usually shoot with an even tiller but the rig shot well for me at 3D distances. Arrow was a Beman ICS 500 hunter, 29" with 125 field pint. I let a friend borrow my chronography to I don't have in numbers for the limbs. On the Warf Jenning riser, the limbs gave me a 63.5" bow. rusty
