I'll go along with that

My Good Lady cannot use one, she tends to panic when trying to come through. As she has never crept forward from her reference point, she has no use for one. I do use one, as I tended to creep a little, but on hearing that click, I still wait that second before the loose. I will often shoot without it to see if I will still creep. I am shooting compound at this time, & any relaxation...WOW the bow will snatch your fingers off. I am hoping that when I go back to recurve I wll be shooting without the clicker, as the compound has helped me to get rid of those bad habits (Hopefully)
