Wink

Go on LMP, buy yourself a clicker. It'll ruin your form for a few weeks and might give me a chance of beating you!!

In all seriousness though made loads of difference to me, it's just the rest of the form I have to sort out now.

If you are going to use a clicker LMP make sure someone watches where you draw to and get it in exactly the right position.

Clickers are useful, but DO NOT LET THEM RULE YOU! A lot of archers will loose as soon as they hear that click, & they may not be ready to shoot. Just remember that a clicker is a draw length check, nothing else. Keep that in mind, & you should not go too far wrong

silver streak has it right, you need to be SPOT ON.
Meanwhile have a

Indeedy.

That being said, there's no point at all in drawing through the clicker, waiting, and then releasing. You might as well shoot without one.

I'll go along with that My Good Lady cannot use one, she tends to panic when trying to come through. As she has never crept forward from her reference point, she has no use for one. I do use one, as I tended to creep a little, but on hearing that click, I still wait that second before the loose. I will often shoot without it to see if I will still creep. I am shooting compound at this time, & any relaxation...WOW the bow will snatch your fingers off. I am hoping that when I go back to recurve I wll be shooting without the clicker, as the compound has helped me to get rid of those bad habits (Hopefully)
