Samick Masters which cost nearly twice as much? (£296 from altenative). You're missing my whole point here - some people just don't have that kind of money, and whilst a good pair of limbs can cost a lot, it's useful to let people know that there are cheaper options out there which are just as good. Sebastian Flute limbs are quality - they came highly reccommended and are similar to the Win and Win Everest Pro, a very good limb.

Not missing your point at all. I'm merely pointing out that the idea that you "needed" foam core limbs was completely erroneous.

John, you mentioned in an early post, that the Border limbs are available in odd lengths now. Are you refering to the current models, or the next generation.

I think the HEXIV limbs are available in odd lengths, and the next ones (to be launched in a couple of months) will be as well. Not sure about earlier models. I'd suggest mailing Sid.

Thanks John, I'll go to Border through Graham at WAS, he carries more weight than I do, even if he is only 5 foot 2 tall.

Graham put in an advanced order for me for me last Summer for some 70", I may now change it to 69".

Fairy nuff

Wantage? You live in Wantage? My parents live in North Fawley. Perhaps we'll have to have a shoot together if I get down there with my kit at some point (if you don't mind, that is).

I can almost shoot an arrow from my house to North Fawley.

Bring your kit any time you're down this way. Grant is also close by in Abingdon.

Would the NFAS club that you are thinking of rejoining be SVYF by any chance. I will be there for their next shoot on 19th March, I don't think I have missed one in the last 2 or 3 years.

Great stuff. I'll do that, thanks.

And yes, it is SVYF. I used to go over every so often of a Sunday to shoot a little barebow on the practice range or occasionally the course. I really must get out there again, although come to think of it I may have to wait until I have some "disposable" arrows that match my new improved draw length.
