| The basic foundation of the course is Biometrics - probably the hardest thing to change and get results from quickly. The first day is taken up by taking video shots of each archer from all four quarters. If you have a tendancy to porkishness, you will immediately want to lose weight, 'cos it really brings out the worst in you! The evening class (7 - 9pm that night) is a clasroom disection of your posutre, stance, back muscles, shoulder position and draw. This is not a one on one session, so it is not for the shy. Most will come away from that session wondering how the hell they are going to fix everything that has been pointed out.
The rest of the weekend is primarily taken up with blank boss instruction to fix the posture and form problems identified on the video. There is a little time in between sessions to shoot at targets, but remember you have access to the range from 7 am, so it is a LONG day if you don't remember to pace yourself. The classroom sessions cover everything from shaft selection to tuning and the coaches will also show you stringmaking and equipment maintenance. A little time is taken to show people how to get the best from walk back tuning.
It is a bit like going to a barber who can only cut short back and sides. However the coaches are verry accessible and you do have plenty of time to talk through any personal issues in regard to your form. However, the coaching is very much to one method, so don't expcect too much free form expression.
