| I thought I might have to buy a new sight recently, until I learnt that Copper John were going to be so good about replacing my old one (the modern ones don't break like that one did!) http://www.archery-interchange.com/f...pper-john.html If I had needed to replace it I might have gone for a Shibuya. I had a look at the shibuya, and one thing I didn't like was that the windage looked to have less range of adjustment than the Copper John has, though I didn't measure it that carefully. If money were no object, I would go for the Copper John again since I like the ANTS idea and apart from that I think it looks cool with the curved bar. Apart from the aforementioned breakage, it has seemed very solid. I'm guessing that the Copper John is a bit heavier, though its not as heavy as it looks. Not sure why more recurvers don't shoot them. It is about £50 more though...

| There is no weight difference between the ultima and ultima carbon, save yourself a few pounds and get the normal ultima if that's the one you decide to go for. I have the ultima, I quite like it but would prefer an angel sight given the choice again. |

| I have the Shibuya dual click, ok not what your looking at but the same company and i can say this is a solid and reliable sight which wieghs a lot less than a Copper John, which was originally built for the darkside, iirc.

| I went for the ANTS Copperjohn Fita. I liked the massive windage and elevation adjustments and the curved frame which lined up my iris recticule at all distances. The quality is awsome as is the backup service from America. A rock solid sight that is not as heavy as it looks and can shoot from 20 to 100 yards without moving or unbolting parts. Just slide or wind it up and down. If I were to puchase another sight I would get another Copperjohn. |

| wise words indeed ![]() i posed the same question and after comparing the pros and cons i went with the sureloc based purely because i like the appearance, but im very glad i did. its solid as a rock, no vibration at all, the adjustments are positive, precise and accurate and it weighs practically nothing. Ive only ever played around with a copperjohn once and i was very suprised at how chunky it is, theres a hell of a lot of metal to it and it looks almost over-engineered so out of your original choices i'd pick the Ultima. Ive never used one mind you so this is a just an opinion based on visual observation, dismiss it at will ![]()
