SF Carbon Foam Limbs

Hi

Can anyone give me a bit of quick advice,

SF Carbon Foam Limbs are they any good and if so how much would you expect to pay for a second hand pair in good condition.

Lou

Yes - I shoot them and they are very good indeed. If you want something substantially better you have to look at spending £300-ish.

As to secondhand prices, I wouldn't know. So much depends on how much they've been used and how they've been looked after. But with the price of a new pair at about £170, why not dive in and get a new pair?

Try Custom Built for a good price.

Actually i saw that, they really did go! He was literally bending them in his hand afterwards. Apparently that's the second pair to go at Cambridge university.

My old pair, however, are in a second set of hands and still going strong

It may well have been a dry fire. The arrow ended up on the floor. The laminate on the compression side had split laterally.

This shouldn't go down as limbs failing in normal use, as no-one normally dry-fires limbs.

Err.. You wont find anything SUBSTANTIALLY better even for £300 or £400.
Good mordern limbs are so close in performance. I don't think many people would notice a difference between SF carbon limbs and G3s if you sprayed them both black and didn't say which was which.

There's plenty of posts about these limbs, have a look here: http://www.archery-interchange.com/f...html#post36735 or try a search under "Sebastien Flute".

try altservices or bowsports for sf limbs for a price or you could try the samick athlete limbs which are carbon and foam £150.00 from bowsports i would say they have a better finnish than sf limbs

You should have posted the weight and length your looking for, someone might have been looking to sell theirs... but not gone as far as advertising them. You might have got a cheeky PM from someone looking to sell...
