Just that if you (or anybody else) go out and buy expensive kit at this stage it isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as you're prepared to discover further down the road you made the wrong choice.

Good luck!
Hi Tel,

No problems............ my spirit cannot be dampened, I'm too possitive about archery and the fact that I will do well!

I also do appreciate that parts of the kit will be upgraded as I progress and the 'more expensive' bits would be those that were intended to stay a while, like the riser and sights particularly.

Soooooo...... If you see me on the shooting line sometime in the future ... watch out !!!!

its a date!

The point I was stressing though is that even the riser may be found to be unsuitable (to you) after your form settles. Sights are sights so no point in buying rubbish as your development isn't going to alter the choice.

Thanks for that...........

So what process did you use to turn your Nexus into a lump of wood and what was the advantage there? Did it shoot better? Are you still satisfied with it?

My intention, when released into the clutches of the shop, is to actually shoot with the risers and various limbs I have shortlisted and the Nexus is certainly one of these risers.

As I understand it, correct me if I am wrong, but most professional outlets will allow you to do this and help you in your selection based on their considerable experiance and expectations of collecting another satisfied archer that will stay with them for years.

Good shooting

Malcolm

Sounds sort of like that doesnt it? However, it should have felt better than the other one otherwise would he have bought it just because he 'looked good' ?

I have already e-mailed CBA yesterday morning with a long list of my thoughts and advising them of my interest, asking if there were any other items od riser or linb I could consider and hopefuly they will reply soon.

The response for Archery Interchange members has been fantastic and most helpful in adding to my first thought, so that I have been taking away some items and adding others.

I have tried to reply to all, but just in case I have missed anyone, I appologise now

Thanks again

Malcolm
