Ok I did say I would decide by the weeks end and I decided to lay my £'s with Border. Supporting one of our UK companies was a factor and also the great products and personal customer service that goes with the Border brand. Don't find that with large multi nationals.

They will be arriving early next week and I can't wait to start shooting next week.
Was a #### up between 2 TXB limbs. Went for the faster/newer version after discussing the attributes of the two limbs in my weight bracket. The limbs I chose are slightly lower poundage than my current limbs.....1lb, cant grumble, I'm betting they're faster, will let you know the results after giving them a good try out.

My synerzy's are a little old and tired and deserve a rest. Still good enough for backup or indoor archery.

I came off the phone very happy after having a great conversation with Sid the younger. I will be proud to say I shoot with border limbs from next week.

Thanks Sid the younger and Sid at Border
As others have testified before me.
Top drawer customer service always.

Congrats on getting the Borders good choice. Hope they serve you well.
My Borders are black with silver design and writing. They were white but Sid refinished them for me as the string had rubbed the paint off at the tips.
They match my bow now, very flash.

Also the image on the Border website is definitely blueish purple. When did you get yours?
Thom your eyes did not deceive you. Do you remember Proctor's (Prockers') TXGs? They were undeniably purple, in his own words. Still the upshot of having any colour you like is very nice.

Is that a sort of shiny darkish grey? If so that's the one I'd heard was an option. And it doesn't look at all purple, unlike the website photo which must be one of those funny lights. I think I'll be buying a pair soon.

We have been using it for the last 4 years at a guess. It is our standard colour unless you ask for something else. Pink if you want!

I meant the 'default' colour, Amethyst, which he described as purple and which our current president went to great lengths (£35?) to avoid.

Hmm... no I don't remember Proc having a pair of those actually... I must not have been paying attention.

However the colour Border described sounds exactly like the other pair you mentioned. Dark grey. So Proc had a different colour?

I really really really want the matte anthracite/black that's on my current pair... I'd go for "iron ball" stealth bomber paint but I don't know if they can get that (And RAM - radar absorbing material - on the riser). Pearl effect black could be interesting... iridescent would be even better.

Border, there is your challenge (Do any of these colours even exist?)
