Sorry I'm late to the game. I recently read a thread on ArcheryTalk and a guy says to put tape on your limbs under the string and then put lipstick (archers use a lot of lipstick don't they?) on the string where it will slap the limb.

After you shoot you can see how far down the limb from the tip the string impacts the limb. If they are even, then (in theory) the tiller is fine - both limbs have aproximately the same amount of energy imparted to them. Of course, repeat this several times to get a consistent reading.

Does this sound valid to everyone?

I haven't tried it with my new setup yet but intend to within a week or so.

Could work.... never heard of that one before.

Thanks for the input, we will give it a try.

The next one for us, is, if it worked, at one setting, would that same balanced setting work at a different preload, or brace height. As the Ratio of balance is set, it just shows as more or less tiller at different preload, or BH.
