| Sorry, been away a day. Draw length 28", I can reach 80y but the sight is all in all down. My issue is to get past 80y as I really would like getting my 1st class badge by the end of the summer I also like my ACE and I thought if I got a good sub 40 set of limbs I could continue using them indoors. I spoke to some people at the club on Wednesday and they said to be carefull in shooting 1/2 year on one poundage and the other half on a different as the muscle tone will fluctuate. ![]() A | |||||||||||||

| Mmm muscle tone won't fluctuate... to my thinking anyway... you train, you built more muscles... more poundage, more muscles... Its not like the muscles'll deteriorate because you shooting 36lb instead of 40 | |||||||||||||

| I got first class with 36# KAP Challenge limbs. Wind your limbs up a little. Buy some Winex or Inno limbs. They will be smoother and easier to draw than your present limbs. An increase of 2# will enable you to improve sight marks as they are faster than your present limbs, stick with the same arrows (probably) and achieve your goal. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Get a majesty string that will lift the sight mark a bit. If your using an anchor tab with a ledge on top put a 1/4" block on that. By lowering you hand under the jaw the arrows will lift. G. | |||||||||||

| I'm using KAP EVO II limbs, 70" 34# with navs and I can hit 90m if I bring my sight all the way in. But then again, I measured the poundage and I'm holding somewhere in the regions of 37pounds. So I guess cheap limbs isn't the biggest issue. Whats the weight on your fingers?

| I think your question is could you get more mileage out of different limbs without going up megapounds? It is certainly the case that pound for pound some limbs are faster than others. I shoot SF SHC because I am a lightweight and I read somewhere that their thinner width compared to other limbs gives them the equivelent speed of limbs two pounds heavier (I believe some border limbs are also thin profile). I am not sure how true it is because I have done no objective testing, but they certainly feel as if they shoot much faster (and smoother) than the Challenger carbon they replaced and seam much easier to draw.
