Question Arrows gone stiff overnight !?!?

Left-handed recurve archer - very consistent form and release etc.
Hoyt Helix
34lb CRX to make a 68" bow
TS-Plus string 20 strand
27" AMO D/L
ACC 3L-04, 26.57" raw shaft length, 27" AMO arrow lenght
Easton 100gn parabolic point
Beiter insert nock #1 3L-04 Uni-Bush

Arrows spine okay on Easton - online chart.
Also spine okay on Archer's Advantage (slightly weak if anything).

After a tuning session a couple of days ago when all was well I re-fletched his arrows using exactly the same type (FlexFletch low-profile), same fletching jig and same offset angle (none). Now the arrows are coming up very stiff.

Bow setup is as before but double-checked anyway.

Checked clearance with foot-spray, all is fine.

Increased poundage and arrows coming in but I'm now at the max for the bow.

Backed-off pressure button to the point where it is doing almost nothing and the arrows are almost there now on a paper test at three different distances (approx 2m delta).

I just cannot see what is wrong unless the button is bottoming or jamming but it feels free and okay (though way too light).

Any thoughts, anyone?

Have you checked Bracing height?

Tiller?

Limb alignment?

Yes
Yes
Yes

The bow shoots very sweetly and all current settings are as recorded after the successful tuning session.

Something is weird.

Have you checked that the windage on the sight is set just outside the centre line of the bow before checking tuning. I have spent time before now tuning, but the sight was too far in, so esentially i was trying to tune the arrow to come out inside the centre line. This led to the button too far in and a stiff button. Yours could be the revese.

Limb alignment, centreshot, tiller, bracing height all checked before starting work on shooting.

Keep the ideas coming though, please.

Something very strange there then....

Nock to string fit tighter... (although can't see how it would have changed really, are they replacement nocks??)

Any chance "centre shot position" has changed...?

String broke a strand or two under the centre serving...? - clutching at straws now....

Nock fit is good, centreshot is correct.

Now that is what I call creative thinking, thank you.

I must admit I didn't try the spare string... the suggestion is as off the wall as the problem so I like it.

Any more for anymore?

no such thing as a button set too light (as long as the clicker does not move it)
if there are no other variables then you are torquing/not torqueing the bow compared to before. this will give you achange in bare shaft and paper tune (although i cant work out why anyone would paper tune a recurve, compound yes but recurve no.
