Tuning....

Just ordered a boss for the back garden - planning on shooting about 5-6m.

Is this distance going to be far enough to work on bow tuning ie. bare shafts etc???

It should put you in the ball park but you need a longer distance for a good tune.

If things are badly wrong, the angle of the arrows in the boss will show; as would a paper test. If things are reasonable, the angles of the arrows will look better and the paper tears will be shorter. If you shoot erratically that will show too.
I don't think you could set things up very finely by shooting so close.Tuning for groups would be a waste of arrows!!
