What bow is this?
What bow does Vic Wuderle shoot? the riser I mean?

It is a Matthews I am assuming?

Brady Ellison also shoots one. Why are they not available to buy?

I believe Ellison got his from Wunderlee ....



There were only a couple of dozen made (I understand from previous posts) and that was a long time ago.

It seems odd that Mathews must have bought the design rights from Sky and since done nothing with the bow, I cannot think that they would do this just to have an Olympic archer on their shooting staff?

It looks long

It looks heavy

Both are a good thing.

Although I dislike the grip seen above, its uber low.

Brady Ellison shoots the same riser with a much higher grip.

Ancient bows rock - have an Axis, would happily shoot a Radian if it wasn't for everyone that tries to sell them charging "antique" rather than "old" prices (for God's sake, 170 quid? That's less than a tenner for every year since it came out the box, and probably twenty for every year since it ceased to be straight...)

And as everyone knows, if it's got Mathews dampers in it you can instantly charge more! (Q.V. Truball sight)

Really, it's the fact that it's limited access - I can't have one, therefore I want it more!

Now you know I have a brand new Axis (!) .... I also have a couple of Avalon Pluses that I shoot all the time, I'm a big fan old bows and of the dictum "If it looks right it probably is" but the Mathews recurve is a dog, no wonder they decided not to bother mass producing it.
