| I use the 1.87" low profile flexfletch and like them. The are durable, offer good steering yet with the low profile (lower than titeflite) do not seem to lose sightmark.

| For distance shooting (70m +) I too would recommend the FF 187. As for FF being "rubery", that's why they survive shoot throughs with no damage. Dave PS: Just FYI, FF 212s are my vane of choice for NFAA/IFAA field where the max distance is 80 yards.

| I'm switching to ff187, I used to use the FFP175 and they were really good! Currently I use X-vanes 1.75" Have also tried the 1.50" and IMO they were both pretty much the same. |

| I'm currently using Flex-Fletch FFP-150 on my arrows, and they are the best fletches i've used (imo) as they can survive pass throughs, skidding along the ground and i've even shot a couple of fletchings off from tight groups and been able to pick it up off the floor and glue it straight back on

| The "memory" that the Flexfletch plastic has also has another great property. If you do bend one of them by a passthrough or by hitting the ground, you can get the fletch to return to its correct shape quicker by breathing on the fletch and heating it up.

| Another good thing i find about them is that they have a big range of colours and some unusual ones.Because i haven't seen to many other archers use them they are easier to identify throught my scope.I fletched a couple of my arrows last week in the 2" dark red and pearlescent light blue and they really stand out. I'm gonna order some 1.87" as suggested previously in this thread, and do all my arrows in the above colours. They are almost identical to my football team colours (claret and blue ) and like my football team they can take their knocks![]()

| Well,i've given the 2" flexfletch a fair old try and have found that although they are alright up to 70M,i can't make them work for me at 90M.The only explanation i can give is that they flutter too much due to the rubbery make up. As i said previously,i'm gonna give the 1.87" a go,but seeing as i got a FITA star event on Sunday i'm going to have to switch back to good old EP16's.I know a lot of archers will think that they are to small for my big fat arrows, but they worked better for me at 90m than the flexfletch 2".I got a gut feeling that now my shooting has improved they may work better than they used to. I'll only get 1 session to tune and get sightmarks.Hope i'm right ![]()
