Thumbs up Yamaha and Nishizawa archery factory

I've managed to come across a pretty cool video on youtube which roughly shows how a forged riser is made, in particular the old Yamaha that is now the Sebastien Flute.

There is also a hint on how limbs are made.

Not as detailed as I would've liked but still a pretty nice video. Enjoy

Looked to me like they just opened the doors and were shooting outside.

Now I realize I should have kept up with my Japanese language studies.
Managed to catch a phrase here and there but most of it passed me like an X10

Yamaha and Nishi

Also on the video a rare shot of Darrel Pace and Rick Mckinney, pity they are not shooting. At the same time as the Nishi was around does anyone remember the French Athletic bow. Very fast, smooth and a dream to shoot. Came with a matching stabiliser set-up with long rubber dampers hanging off the ends of the stabiliser rods. Keep looking on ebay hoping for another one. Anyone know what happened to the company.

Had a look on the Interweb thingy myself a couple of months back.

Atletic (société) - Wiki PDS2

is a reference to a French web site - just tells you the company has closed
