| Some may remember my recent thread about interference and many helpfull comments were forthcoming so I'd just like to feedback/follow up.Couldn't understand why I was getting fletching streaks ontop of arrow 'platform' area of my riser and nock point height was on the list of possible probs amongst other suggestions. My ACC arrows had recently fitted 100g points as it was known they were too stiff for my setup, still couldn't get them to tune even though I took the limb adjusters up and played about with bracing height. I took the plunge and got the next spine shaft down with 'normal' points and found that the bow is shooting well again.I measured the weight on fingers with digital scales to make certain.Seems like I needed one spine lower than that suggested by the chart.I learned a lot from this exercise mainly not to take the mechanics as gospel and that the bow is a dynamic thing. Needless to say I will be scrounging arrows to try after I next change limb setup.Back to the line....whoopee! |
