For both the archers? Correct me if I'm wrong but are you saying that having a side anchor is bad?

I think the limbs she's using are a newer version. The newer Samick masters/extreme also look different from the older ones.

Hmm, the only thing I know is what the Universal looks like and we have one guy in the club that just bought his Universal and they look exactly like mine and another guy that bought another pair of older limbs that looked like the top of the girl on the pics limb.

Hmm I don't exactly know much about how the limbs look so who knows you might be right. Lets just wait for someone to comment on that.

the first and second pictures show archers with side anchors. This is very bad form making alignment difficult. look up previous threads and dont post a picture of petterson going look at him because he is the only one to get away with it

yet again... surely you can't say it is very bad form if it works for Petterson?? I know of a junior who is now using a side anchor... she is beating most seniors at the mo in her area and improving all the time!! It might not be text book but it cant be all bad!

Yes, you can.

For example, much like you may encourage someone to shoot like Magnus Petterson, I would encourage you to shoot like Jon Mynott.

For the unaware: deathgrip the bow, punch like hell, shoot 1370.
Do any of the compound archers on here consider that good technique? No. But it works for him, so it must be OK, so if someone else wants to shoot like that they'll be fine...

tom the voice of reason
or teach a child to hold a pen wrong to learn to write just because someone else does?
If someone is shooting well with a side anchor then if they do it properly it wil be even better.
IT IS WRONG/BAD TECHNIQUE!
why do people on this and other boards advocate poor technique? they would not do so in other areas of their lives or proffesions?
