Well, I re-started last November after a 12year layoff. I use to shoot 40-44Ib. When I returned I thougt I would be conservative and chose 34Ib. They seem awfully light now, although I doubt I'll get back to 44, 40Ib could be on the cards.

I did, but many thanks. However I've never had a problem with a warranty claim with Hoyt if it transpires there is a problem. I shoot a Nexus riser and tend not to mix manufacturers components.
