| Tuning an old KG1 After a thorough post search, Could anyone give me a few tips on tuning a Marksman KG1? (bracing height specifically  ) I'm shooting fairly reasonable groups at 25-30M with 2213 XX75s (4" ish) The bow is 69" & 40#@28". I'm pulling to 29"It's really the bracing height I'm unsure of.

| The recommended BH range for a 69" KG1 is 10.5 to 11 inches. measured to the back edge of the riser at the arrow rest. Marksman had to be different I guess. Just for clarity; the back of the bow is the bit that's furthest away from you when you draw it. You hold a bow like you hold a woman, belly to belly.  |

| Just as Rik said. I found my KG1 performed best right in the middle of the bracing height range with 18 strand fastflite strings. Beautiful bow it was. 69in, 34lb @ 28in drawn to 40lbs. Shooting three fingers under and anchoring at the corner of the mouth, my point-on distance with 31.5" XX75 2114s was 60 yards. Happy days. |
